1. Who we are

Aveira Clocks is a student-founded company based in Cary, North Carolina, building the Aveira One, a smart alarm clock that helps you put your phone down and sleep better. You can reach us any time at aveirasmartclock@gmail.com.

2. The product is still in development

The Aveira One is a working prototype moving toward its first production batch. Photos and descriptions on this site show our current design, but small details may improve before your clock ships. Ship dates we share are honest estimates, not guarantees, building hardware takes time, and we'd rather ship it right than ship it fast.

3. Pre-orders

• A pre-order reserves an Aveira One from our first production batch at the locked price of $89.99.
• You can cancel any time before your order ships for a full refund, no questions asked. Just email us.
• If we ever conclude we can't deliver, we will refund every pre-order in full.
• Joining the waitlist is free and is not a purchase, it just gets you updates and first access.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by PayPal, a secure payment company. Your card or bank details go directly to PayPal. We never see or store them. Prices are in US dollars. Delivery fees and any promo code discounts are shown at checkout before you pay.

5. Promo codes

Promo codes are one per order, can't be exchanged for cash, and we may end or change a promotion at any time. Codes that are shared publicly may be deactivated.

6. Our 90-day warranty

If anything is wrong with your clock because of how we made it, within 90 days of delivery we will repair it, replace it, or refund you, your choice. The warranty doesn't cover damage from drops, spills, or taking the clock apart. It never affects rights you already have under law.

7. Using our website

You agree not to:

• Break, overload, or try to hack the site.
• Submit forms with someone else's information or spam our inboxes.
• Copy our designs, photos, name, or logo for your own products. The Aveira name, the clock's design, and everything on this site belong to us.

8. A note on sleep

Aveira is designed to help you build better phone habits at bedtime. It is not a medical device and doesn't diagnose or treat any condition. If you have a sleep disorder or serious sleep concerns, please talk to a doctor.

9. Limits of our responsibility

We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but it's provided "as is." We can't promise it will always be error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us. Nothing in these terms removes rights that consumer law gives you.

10. Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we'll change the date at the top. Big changes that affect pre-orders will be emailed to everyone with an open order.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA. If something goes wrong, email us first, we genuinely want to fix it.
