Yes. It senses you right through blankets, clothes, and most materials. It can't work through a wall or a metal headboard, but on a normal nightstand it has worked every single time in our tests.

Aveira learns who you are with a quick one-minute setup on your first night. If the other person is still awake but you're asleep, nothing happens. Two people can share one clock.

No - and that's on purpose. Aveira can only sense that someone is there, a bit like a motion light. It can never see you or hear you.

For real emergencies, the Aveira Companion App has an emergency button that releases your phone from the dock for a few minutes, then it's back on and the alarm resumes.

Honest answer: good parts cost money. A precision 3D-printed body, the sleep sensor, wireless charging, and a real speaker add up. We've priced it as low as we can while still being able to build the first batch.

Those are settings, and settings can be turned off in two taps. Aveira is a physical object sitting on your nightstand. The alarm keeps going until your phone is actually on the dock, so there's nothing to ignore, reinstall, or switch back on at midnight.

You need it for setup, to set your bedtime and wake time, pick an alarm sound, and use the emergency release. Day to day you don't have to open it at all, the clock just runs the schedule you gave it. The Aveira Companion App is coming to both the App Store and Google Play.

Yes. The dock charges wirelessly, so your phone is at 100% by the time your alarm goes off. Docking it at night replaces your usual charging cable.

If your phone charges wirelessly, it works with Aveira. You just set it down on top, the magnets pull it into place, so there's no cable to line up in the dark.

The sensing happens on the clock itself and isn't uploaded anywhere. There's no camera and no microphone, so there's no footage or audio to store in the first place. We don't sell your information, ever.

The first batch ships within the United States. If you're outside the US and want one, email us and we'll let you know as soon as we can get it to you.

Cancel any time before your order ships for a full refund, no questions asked. After it arrives, our 90-day warranty covers anything wrong with how we made it, we'll repair it, replace it, or refund you, your choice.
